Microalbumin Semi-quantitative Urine Test
NOVAtest® Microalbumin Semi-quantitative Urine Test is a professional immunoassay for semi-quantitative detection of albumin in human urine.
Microalbuminuria, the early leakage of albumin into urine, is the first detectable sign of chronic kidney disease (CKD), a prevalent condition affecting 6-10% of the US population, and it also predicts cardiovascular disease and pregnancy-related preeclampsia. At-risk groups include diabetics, hypertensive patients and those with metabolic syndrome.
NOVAtest® Microalbumin Semi-quantitative Urine Test enables accurate semi-quantitative detection of urinary albumin via the competitive inhibition method, with a 20mg/L cut-off value for microalbuminuria, and is a dedicated in vitro diagnostic tool for professional laboratory use. This manual test features 98.64% overall clinical agreement, no cross-reactivity, 24-month stability and rapid 5-minute results, stratifying urinary albumin levels into normal, micro and macro ranges to support early CKD screening and clinical risk assessment, with results combined with other data for comprehensive judgment.
This device is performed manually. Performance of the test is limited to laboratory professional use.
